About the Re:vive Project:

I believe that the relationships are as important as the application of relevant technologies when working with clients: The videographer is there to listen, absorb and translate client needs into a concrete and clear message. Delivering a strong motivational message to Coca Cola distributors or a fun and spoof-like corporate training video to Oakley Sports Products  is as important as shooting the appropriate angles and cutting to the correct and suitable rhythm that a high-action sports event for Sky/Tri-Star may require. Every client has a specific and clear visual, aural and creative need  and the videographer is there to fulfil this need.

We used social media as part of a campaign recently in the Angus Buchan Re:vive London campaign: To briefly describe the role: I was producer and director of the live (5 camera, inc crane, 2 stills operators – total of 14 crew) shoot: I oversaw all aspects of the production, including production staff, planned and executed the 8x 180 min shows including the live mix and recording. My responsibilities included: Supervising the links to the live streamed broadcast http://www.ustream.tv/channel/revive-london and liaison with all significant parties, client-facing, technical and operational. Project was delivered on-time, under budget and to satisfaction of client.

Production hard and software: The production was captured digitally on Sony EX3s and mixed live on the Sony Anycast, cut in Final Cut Pro using Motion and Soundtrack Pro for relevant editing. The DVD-cover was designed in Photoshop. Two spin-offs for exploiting stock are planned, including a music video and a ‘how-to mix a live production’ programme for educational purposes.
